What is Life

This is story about life with humor....but in every humor there is a truth.

God created the Donkey and said:
" You will be a Donkey and will work untiringly from sunrise to sunset carrying burden on your back. You will eat grass. You will have no intelligence and you will live for 50 years."
The Donkey requested:
" I have no choice but it is too much to live for 50 years. I would be glad if I am given only 20 years."
God acceded to the request.


God created the Dog and said:
" You will be a Dog. You will guard the house of man and will be his best friend. You will eat the scraps and left over. You will live for 30 years."
The Dog requested:
" I have no choice but it is too much to live for 30 years. I would be glad if I am given only 15 years."
God acceded to the request.

God created the Monkey and said:
"You will be a Monkey. You will swing from branch to branch doing tricks. You will be amusing and you will live for 20 years."
The Monkey requested:
" I have no choice but it is too much to live for 20 years. I would be glad if I am given only 10 years."
God acceded to the request:

Finally, God created the Man and said:
" You will be a Man, the only sensible creature on the earth. You will use your intelligence to become master over all the animals. You will dominate the world and will live for 20 years."
The Man requested:
"I have no choice but 20 years are too little for me. I would be glad if I am given 30 years refused by the Donkey, 15 years surrendered by the Dog and 10 years which the Monkey declined to live."
God acceded to the request:

"Since then, Man lives 20 years as a Man. Marries & spends 30 years like a DONKEY working and carrying all the burden on his back. Thereafter, when his children are grown, he lives 15 years like a DOG taking care of the house and eating whatever is given to him so that when he is old, he can retire and live 10 years like a MONKEY going from house to house and from one son or daughter to another doing tricks to amuse his grandchildren".
